Frequently Asked Questions
What are Luulu products made of?
Luulu scarves and blankets are made of 100% cotton muslin fabric.
Can you machine wash Luulu blankets and scarves? Do they shrink after wash?
30-degree hand or machine wash is suitable for Luulu blankets and scarves. Typically to cotton muslin fabric, it will shrink approximately 5-10% during first wash. After washing, we recommend to lay the product flat to dry. Do not tumble dry.

Scarves will be more closely around the neck for babies since their neck is still very short. As your baby grows and becomes more active, his neck will get longer and thinner, our bandana scarves will fit perfectly.
Can I use Luulu scarf as a feeding bib?
Our scarves are more of fashion accessories which protect your child's neck and clothes from dribble or milk for example. SInce the scarf is square-shaped, it can also be easily used as a wipe cloth or hand towel. If necessary, our scarves can also be used as a feeding bib, but this is not the main purpose of the products.
Are there any safety precautions for your products?
Always remove the scarf before bedtime or nap time so it would not get caught onto another object.

What is Oeko-Tex® Standard 100?
Oeko-Tex is a special textile product label, that certifies adherence to testing for certain harmful substances and their limit values.
Requirements and the range of testing depends on the final purpose of the textile. Luulu products are made out of fabrics which are class I certified (items for babies and toddlers up to 3 years of age). Class I requirements are more rigorous for potentially harmful substances, and there is an additional test for saliva resistance.
